In our unwavering commitment to transparency and fairness, Prashantha Charitable Trust is instituting a robust donation refund policy, in response to the growing prevalence of digital payments. Prashantha Charitable Trust deeply values the conscientiousness of donors in their contributions and acknowledges the potential for inadvertent donations or changes of heart.

Every request for a donation refund will undergo meticulous examination by Prashantha Charitable Trust, with a sincere effort to streamline the refund process. In some instances, additional information/documents may be requested, and Prashantha Charitable Trust counts on the cooperation of donors in providing the necessary details.

It's important to note that Prashantha Charitable Trust retains the discretion to decline refund requests, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued; refunds are not mandatory.

Should you wish to initiate a refund for your donation to Prashantha Charitable Trust, kindly adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Forward a written refund request to Prashantha Charitable Trust via email within 15 (fifteen) days from the donation date, whether the contribution was made online, electronically, or through other means.
  • Clearly articulate the reason for the refund request in your written correspondence.

Ensure your written request includes the following details related to the donation:

  • Date of donation
  • Donation amount
  • If the donation was made by cheque/draft, provide the Cheque/Draft number.
  • If the donation was made by credit card, provide the last 4 digits of the Credit Card number.
  • If the donation was made online, provide the Donation-ID.

All decisions made by Prashantha Charitable Trust regarding donation refunds will be considered conclusive and binding on the donor.
